lucid theme is definitely one of my favorites too. are we the only ones that went for an apple-like search? i see you suffered through the liquid-layout too. and ran out of time – check out the header of my submission mail to the contest:

actually our themes are pretty similar – maybe if you would like lucid in blue check out wired?

i’m not posting here to push my theme really. i think we probably have similar tastes in code & design. so, of course your theme gets my vote

bq. colour variations

Personally, I’ve always had a fondness for grayscale themes with colored links.

I also like the mint theme ala haveamint.com
Dark greys and dusty greens, tiny touches of pale yellow occasionally and a point of blue.

Thanks for the comments. I wasn’t actually expecting any positive feedback as I cobbled together a make-shift navbar in the final minutes.

I’ll look into the transparent PNG links.

It’s a great theme. Personally I’d love to see it as a default for Typo (maybe not in this colorset though)
